The Role:

Exciting opportunity for Junior/New Grad HW Engineer to join our rapidly expanding team as we develop advanced radar and millimeter-wave based people screening platforms for the aviation and commercial markets.  As part of a multi-disciplined technology development team, the ideal candidate would be responsible for teaming with our RF, Mechanical, System and Software development engineers to develop and validate new and existing designs.

 

Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, MS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Learning knowledge of concepts of mixed, analog, and digital board design.
  • Understanding hardware/software integration and real time systems
  • Basic knowledge on FPGA development, knowledge Verilog/VHDL.
  • Hands on experience through Lab classes or Projects troubleshooting and technical problem-solving using of basic lab equipment (DVM, O-scope, etc.)

 

Preferences:

  • 2 years of hands-on analog/digital board development.
  • Knowledge/experience with high-performance processors (com express and GPU’s), peripherals and I/O subsystems including DDR memory, flash, PCIe, 1G/10G ethernet, SPI, I2C, high performance clocking and synchronization subsystems.
  • Experience in schematic entry (familiarity with Altium is a plus).
  • Knowledge on EMC/FCC/UL/Environmental tests.
  • Experience/knowledge creating simulation on Matlab or Phyton.
  • Experience with VHDL/Verilog FPGA development, FPGA debug and hardware associated with FPGA.
