Sales Representative

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Sales Representative (Hunter) will aggressively drive bookings and revenue growth by executing go-to-market strategies within specific focused verticals. They will close deals across new customer markets for both government and commercial applications. The Sales Representative will lead end-to-end capture (RFI/RFP), orchestrate pilots and demos, and forge partnerships, contracting vehicles and funding pathways to accelerate success.
 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Build and execute territory/vertical GTM plans for target segments (government, loss prevention, corrections, healthcare, large venues, corporate/industrial).
  • Maintain market intelligence on buyers, funding, competitors, and policy to shape positioning and deal strategy.
  • Generate full-funnel pipeline through outreach, events, partner/channel motions, and strategic campaigns; forecast and deliver bookings/ARR targets.
  • Lead capture from qualification through close: requirements mapping, solution scoping, pricing, and executive deal reviews.
  • Manage formal procurements (RFI/RFP/RFQ), including sole-source justifications and compliance documentation for federal, state, and local entities.
  • Orchestrate on-site demonstrations and pilot programs to de-risk adoption and compress sales cycles; define success criteria and conversion plans to production buys.
  • Coordinate handoffs to Field Service for installation, training, and support planning.
  • Build strategic partnerships (integrators, distributors, service providers) and identify funding programs to unlock budget and scale deployments.
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering and finance/legal organizations to develop a complete sales strategy

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, with 3-5 years of work experience in B2G/B2B complex solution sales or business development
  • Experience leading RFI/RFP processes, government procurement, and compliance.
  • Strong program/project management, executive communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ability to utilize CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time for customer meetings, demos/pilots, tradeshows, and partner activities.

Salary Range: $80,000-$85,000 annually
